The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
Can you summarise the story in three or four sentences?
There were four children called Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy. One day, Lucy finds her way into Narnia by going into a magic wardrobe. They meet some friends such as Aslan, Mr. Tumnus and Mr. and Mrs. Beaver but also some enemies such as The White Witch. They realise that The White Witch has control of Narnia and makes it Winter and never Christmas and is making the creatures unhappy so it is their job to put Narnia right and overcome the White Witch.
Who is your least favourite out of the children? Why?
My least favourite is Edmund because he was a bit spiteful and he went on the side of The White Witch.
Why do you think Edmund went on The White Witch’s side?
I have 2 theories. 1. He was angry at all the other children – especially Peter – for getting him in trouble. 2. He thought The White Witch was kind because she enticed him with power and treats.
Do you change your mind about Edmund throughout the rest of the story?
I do. When he went back to The White Witch to make him a king, The White Witch wasn’t kind to him anymore. He changed his mind about the White Witch when he saw her being nasty to other people. After that, he went back to his siblings side. He even fought against the Witch later on in the battle. He apologised to his siblings and was very brave.
How many stars would you give it out of five?
I would give it 4 and a half because I want more funny bits.
